Which areas of the castle are available for the wedding?

Depending on your wishes and the number of people, you can choose from the following:

A free wedding ceremony in the castle courtyard or in the open air is also possible.

How many guests can we invite?

We offer flexible room sizes for small, intimate weddings from approx. 10 people upwards as well as large celebrations for up to approx. 130 guests. We will be happy to advise you according to your concept and number of guests.

Can we rent the location exclusively?

Yes - exclusive use of individual rooms or the entire area is possible.
Depending on the size, costs may be incurred; we will be happy to discuss the exact details in a personal meeting. 

Is there accommodation available for us and our guests?

Yes - your wedding party can stay comfortably directly opposite the castle in the Burghotel Schlaining We are happy to reserve rooms for you in advance at
. We can arrange a special suite for the bridal couple. 

What culinary options do you offer?

We value regional products and fine wedding menus.

Is there space for an outdoor wedding ceremony?

Yes - depending on the weather and the concept, you can castle courtyard, in the Black Courtyard or also in the Clusius Garden
We will be happy to advise you on the most beautiful places around the castle.

Can we have a church or civil wedding at the castle?

You can have a church, civil or free wedding here. The castle chapel is available for a church wedding. 

Can I bring my own service providers (DJ, photographer, florist)?

Yes - you can bring your preferred partner with you.
We are also happy to recommend reliable regional partners on request.

Are dogs allowed at the wedding?

Yes - dogs are also very welcome on your special day. Please let us know in good time if you are planning your wedding with a dog. If the dogs stay with us at the Burghotel, we charge a daily flat rate of € 20.00 for additional cleaning and comfort. 

Do you offer support with planning & procedure?

Yes - our team will accompany you personally:
