Olaszrizling 2024 - Wachter Wiesler Winery

A delicate, complex nose with aromas of apple peel, ripe pear, and subtle citrus notes. These are complemented by slightly smoky and herbal hints, a touch of grain, and a pronounced mineral-salty character that reflects the iron-rich clay soil and green slate. 


Available for purchase at the wine tasting room for the farm-gate price of €15.00.

Are there tastings of regional and international wines?

Yes - you can take advantage of the opportunity to taste wines from our open tasting range. We also offer regular "Masterclass" events where international wines are also tasted. 

Does a wine tasting have to be booked in advance?

Regular wine tastings from our open tasting assortment are possible at any time without prior reservation. For the "Masterclass" events we ask you to register in advance.

From 2026, we are planning a reception in the Weinkosterei before every concert at Schlaining Castle . 

Can we get married in the wine tasting room?

Yes - the Weinkosterei can be booked for any celebration, including weddings . 

How many people can be accommodated in the wine tasting room?

The 200 m² vaulted cellar offers space for up to 120 people and can be flexibly divided into several areas, making it ideal for different event formats. 

Are snacks or regional specialties served with the wine tasting?

Yes - we offer small snacks. You can find details here

Can wines be purchased or ordered directly on site?

Yes, we offer you an exquisite selection of over 600 wines from all six growing regions of Burgenland at farm-gate prices.
